We now have an option to Gift Aid your subscription if you wish (click here for more information). Please note that we will no longer offer the option of Associate memberships as of September 2026.
WE ARE CURRENTLY REFRESHING THE WEBSITE.
You will be able to access all membership features (for new members and membership renewals) from August 1st 2026. Thank you for your patience.
Interest Groups
At present we have a large number of groups established. Each is run entirely by its members on an informal basis, with a leader/co-ordinator to manage the activities.
Every group must have one or more members to be the group co-ordinator(s) or it cannot run.
Suggestions for new groups are always welcome and support is available to get you started.
Members may join as many groups as they wish, subject to each group's capacity. If a group is full, then you can request to be placed on its' waiting list. There is no additional cost to join a group. But there may be a shared fee to cover venue hire, coach hire, refreshments or an entrance fee.
Groups meet at a variety of locations: local venues, members' homes or further afield depending on the group activity. More information is available on each group's individual page. Go to the GROUPS page.

We are proud to display our certificate to mark our 20 years membership of the Third Age Trust as of 2022.
To celebrate our anniversary, we contributed to the planting of the hedge in the Kelso Community Orchard across the road from the Mayfield Garden Centre. When you visit, look out for our plaque.
