The purpose of the group is to share our love of gardening and plants, to visit various gardens and to socialise. There is not a fixed week per month as this depends on when gardens are at their peak and to suit our hosts.
The gardening group programme runs from Spring to Autumn, mainly comprising garden visits to various gardens in the Scottish Borders. Talks and demonstrations are also held. Ideas for speakers or visits are welcome.

April : Thursday 30th at 2pm Abbotsford Garden
Introduction to garden from a member of the garden team followed by self guided tour around the gardens and grounds. Refreshments in Ochiltrees cafe at Abbotsford. £8.50 pp for an annual garden ticket.
May : Wednesday 20 May at 2pm Glenburn Hall Jedburgh TD8 6QB
