Group members take turns in hosting and choosing a book to discuss. The group discusses a book, fiction or non fiction, chosen by the meeting host.
We have read a variety of books, old and new, fiction and non-fiction, including The Axeman’s Jazz, a detective novel set in 1920s New Orleans, Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, and Laurie Lee’s As I Walked Out One Midsummer Morning. We also share recommendations of other books we have enjoyed.
