Aims of Group: The Incredible Edibles Group will focus on understanding the various systems associated with growing food, whether that is in a window box, on a patio, in the garden veg plot or on an allotment.
It will also look into Food Preservation methods which help to provide us with food security, whether that be from rising costs or unpredictable weather conditions.
We will investigate growing systems such as edimentals, monoculture, polyculture, permaculture, biodynamics and foodforests.
Then in relation to food preservation we will look at freezing, freeze drying, bottling/canning, dehydration, fermentation, wine and liqueur making.
